Our goal is to provide the management services necessary to ensure property values while delivering a return on their investments.Property Listings: Our available homes list is updated daily on our web site and the MLS real estate network. When prospects search, they’ll find the information to narrow their search and encourage them to have one of our professional property managers make a showing appointment. Accounting: Owners are provided monthly statements detailing their property’s income and expenses. To expedite monthly rental proceed checks we have arranged for electronic deposit of monthly rent checks. Direct deposit of owner’s rent proceeds is available on request. Marketing: The Property Shoppe maintains a “For Rent” ad in the Virginian Pilot, the areas main newspaper, and The Flagship, which is the military newspaper of the area. Property available for rent is posted on the area's Multiple Listing Service and Craig’s List plus 25 other real estate search engines and area military housing offices. Properties are also posted with rentals.com for a small fee. Maintenance: The Property Shoppe has developed a core network of general contractors to handle repairs and property improvements. Our contractors are constantly evaluated to insure the highest levels of skill and value. Maintenance requests are received electronically or by phone and a Property Shoppe employee or Property Manager will personally coordinate the maintenance requests. Special options are available for the owners who prefer to personally maintain their property. Tenant Screening: Due diligence in processing tenant application is one of the most valuable services provided. Full credit checks are performed along with past rental and job verifications. Legal Services: When the need arises to enforce the lease provisions, The Property Shoppe has an established relationship with an area law firm that specializes in lease enforcement.
